#761 closed task (fixed)

Licenses for petascope libs

Reported by: Dimitar Misev Owned by: Piero Campalani
Priority: minor Milestone: 9.0.x
Component: petascope Version: development
Keywords: Cc: Peter Baumann, Bidesh Thapaliya
Complexity: Easy

Description

Many of the jars we distribute with petascope require their license to be distributed with them..

I've included several licenses, it should be double-checked if we need to include others.

This is helpful, not sure if it's still necessary to include the licenses alongside the libs: http://www.rasdaman.org/wiki/CodeProvenance

I'm not sure myself, so let's be on the safe side.
Alternatively/additionally: we may ask Bruce Bannerman, our OSGeo mentor.

have updated the only one remaining, based on Piero's info:

XQJ API: unknown (no indication coming with source code, developers not responding to inquiries)

We have to check, this one may not be actually necessary in secore.

Bidesh, please try removing the xqj jar from secore, and see whether it still compiles and passes the test_secore tests.

Xqj jar isn't in our repo anymore. We should remove it from the list.

I think it's all done, can be closed. I removed xqj from the list.
