Will set this up on Batida using EOX VM image and scripts so no different platforms foreseen.

Hosting our own packages would also be nice but let's first ensure builds. Moreover EOX is following that aspect so not urgent, unless they want to stop supporting that aspect.

PS: Forgot to update, batida is not suitable for 64 bit builds hence a new host (VM) has to be established for that.

We are talking about RPM/DEB package builds here, that should be integrated into the jenkins jobs.

​http://packages.eox.at/ has stopped support for RPM packaging, so we need to take care of this.

George, do you think this could be done with another Jenkins job? The potential problem I see is that bismuth is Debian, and we need an RPM-based distribution probably to build RPM packages.
