Description

Currently, a writer locks the whole database (RASBASE), as no lock manager is available which would push lock granularity down to areas or tiles. Such a lock mgr is currently being implemented at Jacobs University in a student work. We hope to have it stable for v9.0, altuough I put it into "future" until we know.
